Materials: include documents or links for anything YOU create for this assignment.
Technology tools: list each technology tools that adds value to the project. Write and added value statement for each. Include web sites that add value.

Textbooks are an option as an added resource for this unit.
Added Value Sites: Overview of 3 Tribes, Anasazi 1, Anasazi 2, Hohokam 1, Hohokam 2, Mogollon 1, Mogollon 2. Students will navigate the websites to collect information about their group tribe. Using websites instead of a textbook increases student engagement and encouraged the student to act as the teacher.

Google Docs: Each group will have a Google Doc with a graphic organizer to fill out. This adds interactivity and knowledge sharing.

Twitter: While each group is working, the students will "tweet" the teacher with their questions. This provides added engagement through social networking.

Wiki: Each group will contribute to the class Wiki by adding information about the tribe their group was assigned. This provides knowledge-sharing in a social forum and teaches an awareness of real-world audiences and influence on others.

Wordle: Students will create a Wordle for their tribe at http://www.wordle.net/. This adds expression and knowledge sharing through art.
